What will my trip with Community Transit cost?

The cost of your trip depends on how far you are traveling and whether you qualify for a discount.  Persons age 65 and older may qualify for an 85% discount off the full fares under Pennsylvania's Shared Ride Senior Citizen Program.  Senior Citizens pay only 15% of the fare, which currently range from $3.35 to $8.40 for one-way travel in Delaware County.  The full fares currently start at $22.10 one way and increase, depending on how many zones you cross when traveling within Delaware County.

If you receive Medical Assistance benefits from the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, you may be eligible for free paratransit rides or reimbursement of your travel expenses to approved medical facilities and treatments.  Call (610) 490-3975 for more information about the Medical Assistance Transportation Program.
